Your baby has a destiny. You’ve obviously done a lot of soul-searching to be considering so deeply the future of your child. You are making a brave and loving decision. We’re amazed by the strength and beauty of your choice…and not only are we in awe, we are grateful.

If compassion is genetic, and it may very well be, the fact that you are reading this already tells us something about you, and your unborn child. The reason we’re here writing to you instead of on a plane flying halfway around the world to an orphanage in Russia, is because we feel it’s important for you, the mother, to choose the parents who will give your baby a nurturing, love-filled and inspired life…to feel a connection with us, and to say to yourself, “Yes, they’re the ones, this is the family I want for my baby.” 

You have probably thought about the kind of life you envision for your baby. You need to know we will embrace your baby’s uniqueness, that we will encourage your baby’s personality and special talents.
 
We wish we could do this live somehow so we could talk to you and hear how you feel about this whole world of adoption, about everything you’re considering, and what’s important to you. We hope you are getting all the love and support you need from family and friends and we are here if you want to talk…we're both easy to talk to.
 
On the following pages is some more information about us that we hope will give you a real, true sense of who we are and how we live so you can decide if you want to take it further.  It feels impossible to do this in a few paragraphs…even with photographs. We couldn’t include every homemade Christmas card, or every children’s book we love…as writers, our own bedtime stories are pretty great…at least our nephews think so. Rupert, three, can’t get enough of Loren’s story of the red panda who sneaks out of the zoo and Oliver, six, loves Paul’s story of the little boy who finds he can breathe under water with magical chewing gum… (Oliver and Rupert sent us this adorable "elf movie" starring...us!)

So, here we are…with our so-called fairytale life, waiting for a fairytale baby.
